We should have brought the ark.

We are indeed cycling through the flooding in southern Germany. A few pictures below. We were helped out by a pair of biking locals around the washed out bike path but not until we had done some pretty wet cycling. It’s really nice to bike with a tailwind not so nice to bike with a tail current. Tomorrow is supposed to be mostly dry.

This is the outflow below one of the power generating plants on the Danube. The gates were fully open and almost being over topped.

This is just before it got deeper and the panniers started to float the front of the bikes.

The road was closed to cars but the bike path wasn’t blocked.
